New blog post! Even somewhat serious too!

What is the one thing you know God wants you to do–but you constantly refuse because, in order to be obedient you would have to be willing to get uncomfortable? – P. Noble

This is a question that I need to think over more.

Does this have anything to do with the ladies’ study group tonight? Are the men and young people studying priorities, too? If there IS anything like that in my life, I don’t think I can continue following Jesus very long without submitting . . .

Actually, I’m thinking about talking to our young people along the lines of personal devotions tonight.
And yes, you are right that we can’t refuse to obey God in anything and get to heaven.
It’s just that sometimes it is good to search our hearts and see if there is something we’ve been excusing for a while.

    Great question here!

Man, we’re in the middle of doing that “one thing”! It’s crazy, scary, exciting, and the anticipation of what’s coming is unbelievable!

There is simply no better way to live for Jesus than… uncomfortable!

I pray that God will keep each one of us on the edge and uncomfortable! I pray that what we are experiencing now will only be the beginning of our discomfort!

I pray that as followers of Christ we will be willing to sacrifice our comfort so that others may know our amazing Savior and Leader… Jesus!

I recently heard someone say about our mission to lead people to Jesus, “For what’s at stake, do whatever it takes!” I love this!

Great stuff Great and Fearless Leader of men and women and boys and girls and cats!

    Paul
