Report on Jeffrey

Posted by joelbyer on November 30, 2006

We went to see the pediatric neurologist today.
Jeffrey was diagnosed as having speech apraxia. (It is a oral motor coordination disorder.) Thankfully, autism was ruled out. This basically means that he will continue to need speech therapy and social interaction with other kids to help bring him through. All of the workers there have been very pleased by his progress, so we were thankful for that as well. So, continue to keep him in your prayers!

2 out of my 5 children have speech problems and Cody is the worst of them. He was 4 and didn’t talk at all. . .so I know what it is like. We will be praying for Jeffrey 🙂
